CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Division for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, with regards to their different courses.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These classes start out at NCV level two along with the minimum need would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

At the time the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they'd then have attained a grade 10 certification. NCV Level three would be grade 11 and NCV Level four is grade twelve.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, being comparable to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade check here nine is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV level 2 which happens to be equivalent to an NQF level 2.
